My family and I love this water filter. The water tastes good, doesn’t have that funny smell any more. And we love that we are not adding so much plastic waste to the environment. Plus saving money while doing all that.

Day Two: whilst pulling the unit forward to remove the tank, my pitcher fell to the floor and smashed into a million pieces! Obviously my mistake in not first removing the pitcher but wanted to share my experience for anyone new to this purifier…lesson learned. Awaiting delivery of my new pitcher(s) so in the meantime making do with existing pitchers and glasses. I must say I really enjoyed the ability to pour a glass of fresh water then replace the pitcher and have it do the auto-refill to top off the pitcher. And did I bury the lead?? YES…best tasting water and I am enjoying both the taste and the knowledge that harmful chemicals are no longer in my glass. Thinking this would be a great gift for special loved ones.

Would have given 5 stars, except our glass pitcher broke within the 2 weeks after just a light tap of the corner on our granite counter top. It is elegant and works well, but the glass is too thin for that sharp of a corner edge that they have. Industrial borosylicate glass should be so sturdy, but this is just pushing the limitations on the material properties on those edges, and i'm not even sure what type of glass it is. Anyway, I am sill waiting for replacement pitchers to be available because it is a bit slow and we keep accidentally over flowing other containers because someone steps away for a second waiting for the sloowwww fill. OK, enough about that. Now, why I love this filter... such clean water, loved the auto shut off with the pitcher, the hot water on demand is awesome and replaced our electric kettle for 99% of the time. The refill tank being at the very back is a little cumbersome if you have it under a kitchen cabinet on the counter. (We have to refill the tank a lot since we have a large family, so placement and access to the back of the machine is more of an issue.) I feel like it looks very sleek and they were as tight as they could be on the dimensions given all the stuff they crammed on the inside, so well done there! Highly recommend, just be careful with the bottom corners of those pitchers.
